Description
Job DescriptionPoplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, a 412-bed regional referral center, is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician to join Missouri Highlands Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), with financial support from the hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive primary care and obstetrical services while serving a diverse and growing patient population.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient, mission-driven community practice
- Provide full-spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics, including prenatal care, labor and delivery services, and postpartum care
- Opportunity to practice the full breadth of obstetrics
- Obstetrics fellowship training in Family Medicine required
- Surgical obstetrics experience required
- Shared obstetrical call coverage; incoming physician will be required to participate in call
- Established patient base with strong community demand
- Supportive, team-oriented practice environment focused on patient-centered care
- Access to a comprehensive network of specialists through the health system
- Strong clinical support staff and robust onboarding program
- Financial support provided by Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center
- Open to new graduates
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Family Medicine residency program
- Completion of a Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship
- Surgical obstetrics training and experience required
- Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
