Description

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital have a full-time position available for a Board Certified Pediatric Radiologist to join 13 full-time general, 4 neuro and 4 interventional radiologists using all modalities (CT. US. MR. plain film, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy). Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is a top 25 Children’s Hospital with modern and regularly upgraded equipment. US News and World Report regularly cites the institution as excellent in 8 of 10 subspecialties. Case mix and variety are excellent. A mix of seasoned, midcareer and young pediatric radiologist enhances the academic and clinical environment.

Must be willing to take call at about 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each month. Must be CAQ eligible or have CAQ in Pediatric Radiology. This position will include teaching responsibilities for general pediatric fellows, rotating residents and medical students on elective.

Board certification or Board eligibility required. Successful completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship is necessary as is eligibility for an unrestricted license as a physician in Tennessee and a DEA license.
