CLINICAL CHEMIST/CLINICAL PATHOLOGIST
OPPORTUNITY AT GEISINGER
GEISINGER - DANVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA (USA). The Department of Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Clinical Chemist or Clinical Pathologist with subspecialty boards in Chemistry to join our growing laboratories at Geisinger.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
A PhD/MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in clinical chemistry is required. Experience directing a clinical chemistry laboratory and a background that includes research and teaching are desirable.
The successful candidate will share responsibility for chemistry and toxicology testing with 2 clinical chemists to assure quality, harmonization, and standardization at 9 hospital laboratories and 5 clinic labs. The core laboratory performs more than 6 million tests annually. The Laboratory Medicine Department includes 43 pathologists and PhDs.
