Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity in Palm Beach, Florida
Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The incoming physician, who will report to the Medical Director, will join a large and well-supported team of 31 interdisciplinary physicians and 20 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

- Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients for psychiatric symptoms and diagnosis, pharmacological management, consultations with medical teams and caregivers to provide insights on patients’ psychiatric conditions and potential impact on physical health and treatment plans, and providing short-term therapy and crisis intervention for patients with acute psychiatric symptoms
- Opportunity involves both hospital and clinic setting, requires on-call coverage for clinic patients, and one weekend per month, in hospital rounds, required
