Partnered with a hospital in central North Dakota with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum NICU coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Level III NICU
• Schedule: Friday-Monday, 3p-7a
• Duties: Intubations, central line placement, peripheral arterial lines, attend high-risk deliveries, and ground and air transports
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant North Dakota state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• One year of work experience as a NICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
