Collaborating with a clinic in Dallas, Texas, that has an opening for a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• No call requirement
• 50% traveling to patients' homes, 50% telehealth
• 70 patients on the panel
• Board-certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as a Palliative Nurse Practitioner
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
