Partnered with a hospital in central Oregon that has an opportunity for a skilled Nocturnist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: 9p-7a, minimum of 7 consecutive shifts
• Volume: 4-6 admits per night
• Closed ICU
• Will respond to codes and rapid responses
• No procedures required
• Team Structure: 2 MDs + swing MD overlap each night
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike high desert trails featuring lava rock formations and alpine lakes, mountain bike along world-class singletrack, and paddle down a scenic river.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Internal Medicine Oregon state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Internal Medicine program
• One year of work experience as a Hospitalist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
