A leading hospital in northwestern Vermont has an opportunity for a skilled Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Level I trauma
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Call Requirement: Weeknights (5p-8a) or weekends (8a-8a)
• Procedure Volume: 5-7 per day, ~25 per week
• Required Procedures: Venous access, biopsies, drainages, organ access, embolization, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, hepato-bilary/portal intervention
• Surgical Staff Structure: IR techs, RNs, APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Radiologist Vermont state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
