Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and case-find eligible patients for multiple clinical registries, including:
- California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC)
- ImproveCareNow (ICN)
- Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4)
- Accession and abstract specific clinical data elements from patient medical records
- Enter and validate data in internal and external comparative database systems
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness for administrative, clinical, and statistical reporting
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support quality improvement efforts and registry compliance
*Role will be hybrid with some on site and some remote.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year related experience required
Education/Certification
- College degree - 2 years in Health Information Technology required
- Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Admin (RHIA) required
- Active California Registered Nurse license preferred
