Reputable hospitals just 20 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts, have openings for a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: Occasional overnight (5p-7a) and weekend call shifts
• Will cover multiple hospitals
• Daily Volume: 10-15 procedures, 12-16 clinic patients
• Will cover hospital rounding with APP support
• Support Staff: 1 GI hospitalist, 3 outpatient GI physicians, APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Massachusetts state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Gastroenterologist program
• One year of work experience as a Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
