Partnered with a clinic in western Oklahoma with a contract assignment for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

Assignment Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
• Daily Volume: 12 per shift
• Duties: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop and implement patient care plans, etc.
• Support Staff: Physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, catch a local rodeo or county fair, sample Southern comfort food and barbecue at family-owned restaurants, and fish, boat, or camp at nearby lakes.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Oklahoma state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Two years of work experience as Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
