Collaborating with a facility in southern South Dakota with a contract assignment for an Emergency Medicine physician to assist their team.

About the Assignment:

• Schedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 12p-12a
• Patient Census: 40 per day, will see ~0.7 per hour
• Annual Volume: 15,000 patients
• Support Staff: APPs
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Emergency Medicine Physician South Dakota state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Emergency Medicine Physician
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
