- Clinical Trials Sub-Investigator/Career Medical Officer
Description
We are currently seeking a full time (07:30am-13:30 pm five days a week) sub-investigator/CMO to join Novatrials. Novatrials is a privately operated clinical trials facility at the forefront of medical innovation in Newcastle, NSW. We conduct a diverse range of clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neurological, pain management, rheumatology, urology, women's health, and vaccines. Our mission is to expand access to high-quality First in Human/Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials, offering our community meaningful opportunities to contribute to the advancement of healthcare.
Reporting to our Medical Director and with the support of the Principal Investigator, you will work closely with other clinicians and a wider research study team that manages patients and healthy volunteers interested in participating in clinical trials that evaluate the effects of health interventions. You will be responsible for reviewing clinical trial protocols and other study materials, assessing, screening and recruiting potential participants, conducting participant visits, evaluating and managing adverse events, reviewing pathological and imaging reports, collecting and collating trial related data and information, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, nursing and other clinical trial staff, general practices and/or hospitals, and trial participants.
Requirements
The applicant must have the legal right to work in Australia.
The applicant must be currently registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with general registration.
The applicant must hold a current National Police Check (National Police Certificate) suitable for employment purposes.
The applicant must hold a current Working With Children (WWC) Check.
The applicant must provide evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current public health and workplace requirements.
