Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a talented Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our collegial team of five. As the second busiest cardiac program in North Carolina, we offer high-volume experience with the camaraderie of a close-knit group.

Position Highlights:

• Equal share of cardiac call (1:6), all from home — no in-house call
• Weekend and holiday call also shared equally
• 1400+ CABG cases annually, plus TAVR, LVAD, ECMO, valve work, and 300–400 lung cases
• No pediatrics or transplants
• Supervise 4–5 cardiac-specialty CRNAs in a care team model

Compensation & Benefits:

• Employed by HCA Healthcare
• Competitive salary for 41.5 hrs/week, 44 weeks/year

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Board certified/eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology
• Fellowship preferred; if not fellowship-trained, must be boarded in advanced periop TEE
• Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction
