- Anesthesia Faculty, All levels for General Anesthesia
Description
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) McGovern Medical School, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track anesthesiologist for all academic levels (assistant, associate, and full professor) for General Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine. Successful candidates will support our non-cardiac adult anesthesia services at our partner hospitals Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center and Harris Health's Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. Candidates will also be responsible for teaching and supervising our over one hundred anesthesia residents across their training.
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology or board eligible status. Candidates should have a M.D. or D.O. degree, four years of training: 1 year of internship in any accredited internship program and 3 years of anesthesiology residency. Candidate should possess excellent clinical skills and a dedication to teaching and the advancement of the specialty.
